How sponsorship works

Sponsors pay a flat fee, nothing else

• Sponsors pay a flat fee of $100 to $250 per issue of our weekly price email.
• A founding rate is available for our earliest sponsors.
• No commissions, no pay-per-lead, and no bonuses tied to clicks or sales.

Sponsorship is always labeled

• Sponsor credit always reads "Sponsored by" or "Underwritten by", followed by the sponsor's name.
• You'll always know what's sponsored and what isn't.

Money never touches our numbers

• Sponsors have no say over our method, our price ranges, or our rankings.
• Nobody can buy placement or a ranking. Not sponsors, not anyone else.
• Our method is published, and every number carries a version stamp, so you can check exactly what we used and when.

Your data stays yours

• Sponsors get no personal data about you.
• We share only aggregate counts, such as total email opens. Any count under 5 is hidden.
• We don't sell leads, and we don't sell your information.

Who we don't accept

To keep the guide neutral, we don't take sponsorship from:

• Lead sellers
• Contractors and repair providers
• Home warranty companies
• AAA

If a sponsor breaks these rules

We can drop any sponsor who breaks this policy, effective right away.
