Deep Lake Norman roots and a small build — making the fairest home-services marketplace in the market, one fair price at a time.
Home services have a price problem. Homeowners get quoted blind. Workers get underpaid or undercut. Platforms profit from the chaos. YSKAIPE was built to fix all three — with a Fair Rate Index that anchors every transaction before it begins.
One marketplace, two ways to get work done. YSKAIPE Qualified On-Demand (QOD) connects homeowners with vetted local workers — power washers, movers, landscapers, handymen, painters and more — matched to the job, paid through escrow, and backed by our worker-replaceability promise. We take a flat 15%; homeowners pay nothing.
And our Licensed Pro Lead Marketplace gives HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing and other licensed pros a second lane: join free, and claim exclusive, ready-to-work leads. First to claim wins, and the pro bills the homeowner directly.
YSKAIPE was built by one founder and one AI co-builder. That's not modesty — it's the actual headcount, and it's why the platform is smaller, faster, and less compromised than it would otherwise be.
Nick built YSKAIPE's full stack — Next.js, Supabase, Stripe, Resend — and the Fair Rate Index that anchors every transaction on it. He codes, ships, and iterates daily from Cornelius, NC.
He built the two-rail marketplace end to end: instant pricing, escrow for on-demand jobs, the Pro lead marketplace, the legal stack, and the agentic layer that runs it. YSKAIPE is his conviction that AI and human judgment together can make a market genuinely fair — for the homeowner paying and the pro getting paid.
Claude is the day-to-day build partner — the Fair Rate Index engine, and the working counterpart for architecture, debugging, and shipping.
Not a chatbot bolted on. The intelligence layer behind the core functions, and an honest second opinion when one is needed.
A platform for the trades can't be built without the trades. YSKAIPE has been pressure-tested along the way by licensed contractors with decades in the field, by operators who've run local service businesses, and by people who know the Lake Norman community from the inside — on what a lead is actually worth, what fair pricing looks like on a real job, and where a homeowner's trust is won or lost.
Several of them remain close to the company in an advisory capacity. They aren't listed here by name — most of them are running their own businesses, and none of them signed up to be marketing. The influence is in the product.
Not a manifesto — just the things we come back to every day.
The Fair Rate Index exists because homeowners deserve to know what's fair before any worker arrives. Price clarity is a right, not a feature.
On-demand jobs run through escrow — workers are paid only on confirmed completion, and homeowners are never at risk. The money flow is designed around trust, not hope.
We launched in Lake Norman because we live here. Every design decision is tested against what actually works for real neighbors, not hypothetical users.
If an on-demand worker underdelivers, we swap — not argue. Homeowners are never stranded. This is only possible because we control the full transaction.
AI used the way good contractors work: precisely, and without waste. A co-builder, not a gimmick.
We build things meant to last, consume less, and leave places better than we found them.
Claude isn't a chatbot bolted onto YSKAIPE — it's the intelligence layer behind every core function, and the co-builder behind the platform day to day.
We believe AI should make markets fairer, not just faster. Every agentic function in YSKAIPE is designed around that principle.
Claude parses job descriptions and returns transparent price bands for any ZIP code, calibrated to real market data.
On-demand jobs broadcast to qualified YSKAIPE workers; licensed leads go to card-on-file pros. First to claim, first to serve.
Quality issues are classified and routed — swap, refund, or release — so problems get resolved instead of stuck.
Applications scored against a readiness checklist, the YSKAIPE Qualified badge issued, and humans review flagged cases only.
Free for homeowners. Fair for workers. Built in the Lake Norman community.
